Kenneth Lowell Carson, 60, of Celeste passed away on July 8, 2018 in McKinney, Texas. A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Celeste Cemetery with Rev. Mike Eason officiating. Visitation will be 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Carson was born July 2, 1958 in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Thomas Lowell Carson and Mary Jane Jagelky. He worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith and an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his son, James Carson of Celeste; daughter, Ceciley Carson of Cooper; sisters, Kathy Spoonemore of Celeste and Kay Varner and Garth Nutter of Farmersville; grandchildren, Stormey Carson of Dodd City, Kason Carson of Dodd City; nieces, Renee and Brad Brundrett of Farmersville, Cassie George of Farmersville, nephews, Ryan and Shauna George and Joe and Jennifer Thompson of Celeste; great-nieces and nephews, Triston, Jace, Serenity, Jerry Thomas and Janey Paige, Greyson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Thea and Lowell Carson and Pearl Fuquay.
Pallbearers will be Marc Moody, Glenn Sheffield, Whit Price, Dan Soles, James Milton and Brad Brundrett.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Hal O'Steen, H.C. Dean, Scott LaFavers, Ryan George, Kyle Shamburger.
