Nellie Warwick, 93, of Celeste, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 in Greenville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Friday, May 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Celeste with Dr. Rick Paris and Mr. Cody Pope officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Warwick was born April 9, 1925 in Woodrow, Arkansas to Nathan Turney and Ellie Prince Turney. She married Arnold Warwick on May 5, 1945. She worked for First National Bank of Greenville and Celeste I.S.D. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Celeste.
She is survived by her daughters, Sue Compton and husband, Duane; and Joanie Warwick; grandchildren, Shayla and Cody Pope, Brad and Kim Compton, Staci and Greg Sheffler, Nathan and Annie McDonald and Alissa McDonald.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, parents, Nathan and Ellie, siblings, May Paris and husband, Lenzel, Earl Turney and wife, Ruth, Inez Jones and husband, Albert and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brad Compton, Nathan McDonald, Jett Pope, James Paris, Zac Paris, Albert Jones and Chad Paris.
