"Dear Liz, I learned the sad news just today. Clois was one of the finest young men that Johnny and I ever met. My sons and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your precious husband. He is surely at peace with God, and I pray that you and your family will be at peace in the days and weeks ahead. God bless each of you. With much love, Earline"
