Mamie Jo Wineinger, 96, of Greenville, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Plano. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Glenn officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wineinger was born in Greenville on April 9, 1922. She was the daughter of Virgil Lee McFarland and Maggie Myrtle Kuykendall McFarland. She married Billie Joe Wineinger on July 27, 1941 in Greenville. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Gary Wineinger and wife, Rita of Texarkana; daughter, Linda Swanson and husband, Mike of Greenville; sister, Johnnie Ruth Ray of Bovina, Texas; six grandchildren Glenn Wineinger and wife Dawn, Donna Harris, Heath Swanson, Robert Putnam, Blake Swanson and wife Naomi, and Chase Swanson; and four great-grandchildren, Ryan Harris, Faith Swanson, Tanner Swanson and Tavin Swanson. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Karen Potts; grandson, Scott Putman; her parents; great-grandson, Matt Harris; and brothers, Billy Ray McFarland and Leo McFarland.
Pallbearers will be Heath Swanson, Blake Swanson, Chase Swanson, Glenn Wineinger, Robert Putnam, Mike Swanson, Tanner Swanson and Ryan Harris.
