Donnie Odette Spoonemore, 98, of Greenville passed away March 26, 2018 at Briarcliff Nursing Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Memoryland Memorial Park.

Born April 20, 1919 in Lone Oak, Donnie was the daughter of Emmitt and Mattie (Fowler) Fitzgerald. In 1942, she married Willard C. Spoonemore in Hunt County. She was employed by Celeste I.S.D. as a lunchroom worker, and she was a member of Kingston Methodist Church.
Her survivors include her sons, Lynn, Glen and Benny Spoonemore; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, C. D., E. B., and Norman Fitzgerald; sisters, Hazel Rowan and Leta Belle Marchman; grandson, Donnie Lynn Spoonemore and a great-grandson, Jordan Abbott.
