Ruby Boyd
Ruby Alene Boyd, Age 82, of Greenville passed away on June 30, 2008 at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. D. Lott and Rev. Jerry McGinn officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boyd was born on October 23, 1925 in Josephine, Texas to Ivory Bruner and Mary Pitts Bruner. On September 14, 1945, she married T. C. Boyd in Greenville. She was a homemaker, and a member of Central Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Boyd and wife, Sherry; daughters, Nelda Edwards, Joy Beggs and husband, Aaron; Barbara Carmichael and husband, Guy; Sandra Nicholson and husband, Mark; and brother, Murl Bruner all of Greenville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Karen Boyd, and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Heath Beggs, Cody Boyd, Chad Carmichael, Cliff Edwards, Shane Edwards, Derek Green, and Mike Warren.
