Linda Charlene Brignon Smith, 72 of Hutchins, passed away on January 9, 2018 in Dallas. A funeral service will be 2 P.M., Monday, January 15, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Noon until service time.
Mrs. Smith was born in Greenville, Texas on July 5, 1945 to Charles B. Brown and Elsie Mae Olive. She married Tim Smith in Mesquite, Texas on December 29, 2003. She retired from Henson-Kickernick and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Smith of Hutchins; daughter, Rhonda Brignon Lambe and husband, Randy of Greenville; son Robin Brignon of Plano; sister, Catherine Ussery of Hutchins; grandchildren, Chasen Lambe and Chelsea Lambe; great-grandchildren, Landen and Casen Lambe.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Dorothy Payne, Billye Martin, Nannie Duke and Louise Berry, brothers, Truman Tillman and Charles Tillman.
Pallbearers will be Chasen Lambe, Randy Lambe, Rob Brignon, Hal Ammons, Billye Ammons and Gale Smith.
