Barbara Upchurch
Barbara Upchurch, 78, of Farmersville, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Farmersville under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bart Barber will officiate. Interment will follow in Merit Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Upchurch was born in Merit, Texas on October 19, 1939. She was the daughter of Farris Houston McCloud and Ibbie Mae Chandler McCloud. She was a waste manager for North Texas Municipal Water District and a member of First Baptist Church in Farmersville.
Survivors include her son, Frank Upchurch of Farmersville; daughter, Vickie Robbins and husband, Greg of Azle; brother, Lonnie McCloud of Blue Ridge; sisters, Oleta Harmon of Azle and Edna Carter of Merit; grandchildren, Reggie Cecil Hill and wife, Samantha, Justin Blake Admire and wife, Katherine, Kelly Rae Robbins, Frank Jacob Upchurch, Ava Claire Upchurch, Trent Robbins and Ryan Robbins; great-grandchildren, Kaine Paxton Hill, Jett Grayson Hill, Konner Blake Admire, Kinslee Nicole Admire, Remi Violet Hill and Sevyn Ann Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cecil (Chuckie) Upchurch; sisters, Doris Earlene McCloud, Mozelle Pendleton and Ada Helen Sutton; brothers, Richard Glenn McCloud, Ben McCloud, Kenneth McCloud, F. H. McCloud, Jr. and J. C. McCloud.
Pallbearers will be Frank Upchurch, Justin Admire, Reggie Hill, Kevin Foster, Drew Hogan and Luke Hogan.
