Elma Arleta Ellis, Age 80, of Bonham (formerly of Greenville) passed away on Sunday, June 22nd at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Bonham. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 24th at 2:00 PM at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. C. H. Pritchett officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from Noon until service time on Tuesday.
Mrs. Ellis was born on November 8, 1927 in Hopkins County to Riley Bibby and Flora Shepard. On July 4, 1946 she married I. L. (Pete) Ellis in Rockwall, Tx. she was a homemaker and belonged to the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Mina Sangster of Bonham; grandchildren Kevin Sangster of Arlington and Teresa Harris of Bonham; great-grandchildren Jeremy Jennings of Bonham, Pataricia Schad of Arlington, Kory Sangster of Hurst, Craig Schad of Arlington, Jacob Sangster of Hurst, and Ashley Zachary of Bonham.
Her parents, husband, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers precedd her in death.
