Christine Fay Grant, of Campbell, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Graveside services will be held at Brigham Cemetery on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Morgan officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Christine was born on August 17, 1950, in Campbell, Texas to David A. and Nannie Jane Strayhorn McCormack. She graduated from Campbell High School in 1968. She married the love of her life, David L. Grant on June 9, 1967. She was a stay at home mom until her two daughters were older, then she became a Realtor and later retired from Colonial Bank, where she worked as a Loan Processor.
Christine is survived by her loving husband, David L. Grant; daughters, Veronica J. Grant, Michelle A. Stevens and husband, Jackie; granddaughters, Caitlin M. Priest, Kayla J. Stevens; grandson, Alex G. Stevens; sister, Helen J. McCormack-Andrews; sister-in-law, Judy Cole; a niece in Mesquite, Texas and nieces and nephews in Utah.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth N. McCormack and sister, Cathey McCormack.
Pallbearers will be Alex Stevens, Jackie Stevens, John Priest, Terry Grant, John Smith and John Foote.
