James Richard Nye, 47, of Greenville, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Mr. Nye was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 3, 1970. He was the son of James Robert Nye and Patricia Ann Brehm. He and Lisa Ann Williams were married on May 20, 2017. Mr. Nye was an independent contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ann Nye of Greenville; mother, Patricia Freeman of Lufkin; father, James Nye of Plano; sisters, Tamara Ann Bradley of Lakewood Village and Trina Marie Drake of Keller; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many cousins.
