Kenneth Whitley, 8l, born in Hunt County, Texas on January 5, l927 and passed away June l0, 2008 at his home in Mesquite,Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years, and retired from Massey Ferguson at the age of 57. After retiring from Massey Ferguson, he opened his own Tractor Repair Shop. His pasion was working on farm equipment and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, June Whitley, daughter and son-in-law Trena & Lloyd Baker of Mesquite, daughter-in-law, Linda Whitley of Mesquite, three grand-daughters, Kelly,Dana and Shannon, eight-great granddaughters, and pet cat Zoe.
He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Whitley and a daughter Kathryn Whitley.
Family will receive friends Friday, June 13th at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be Saturday June 14, 2008 at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park,Greenville.
