Bobby McGee
Bobby Gene McGee, 85 of Greenville, died Monday, June 26, 2017 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Interment will be in Leonard Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. McGee was born in Celeste, Texas on August 11, 1931. He was the son of George Andrew McGee and Katie Eula George McGee. He married Leta Jo O’Dell on August 31, 1956 in Greenville. She preceded him in death in 2004. He married Patricia Nuttall Bench on February 10, 2007 in Greenville. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired as a district manager for the Social Security Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McGee of Greenville; son, Gary McGee of Celeste; daughter, Cathy Murphy and husband, John of Plano; and grandsons, Sam Wagner and Connor Wagner. He was preceded in death by his first wife and a daughter, Susan Elaine Wagner.
