Leland Ray Cox, 53 of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Cross Trails Cowboy Church with Pastor Oliver Mowat officiating.
Mr. Cox was born in Paris, Texas on February 3, 1964 to William “Buddy” Cox and Glenda Smith Cox. He married Dena Luckett on November 16, 1990 in Commerce, Texas. He was a safety officer for TXDOT and a member of Cross Trails Cowboy Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dena Cox, sons, Tony Cox, Brad Young and wife, April; daughter, Jodi Andrews and husband Blake; sister, Anita Lyles; grandchildren MaKenzie Andrews and Eli Young.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Ashley Cox.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or the charity of choice.
