Thelma Marcilene Ramsey, 91, of Greenville, passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Thelma was born on September 1, 1925 in Emory, Texas to Rufus Addison and Minnie Rose Burns. She married Billie Ramsey on September 13, 1947 in Greenville, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended the Higher Trails Cowboy Church.
Thelma is survived by her children, Marlena Elliott and husband, Tony of Yantis, Michael Ramsey of Lone Oak, Mary Knudson and husband, Lenny of Greenville; grandchildren, James Blythe and wife, Karla, Jeff Cook and wife, Karla, Jeremy Moon and wife, Truly; great-grandchildren, James K. Blythe Jr., Dakota Jacobs, Joiy Lefferman, Zoiy Moon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be James Blythe, James Blythe Jr., Jeff Cook, Jeremy Moon and Michael Ramsey.
