Keith Allen Baughn
Keith Allen Baughn, 50, of Greenville, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Greenville Gardens. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Richard Moore officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time, Wednesday at the funeral home.
Keith was born on October 30, 1966. He was the son of Harry Davis Baughn and Donna Brightwell Baughn. He spent the last years of his life working 24 hours a day taking care of his father. He did the best that he could keeping the house clean, doing the laundry, making out the grocery list each week, and feeding the cats.
Survivors include his parents, Harry Davis Baughn of Greenville and Donna Baughn of Granite City, Illinois; aunts and uncles, John and Kathryn Baughn of Arizona, Charlene and Rob Coffey of Kentucky, Cindy Summers of Sherman, Marsha Cooper of Greenville, Vickie Brightwell of Missouri, Jean Lawrence of Illinois, Ann Johnson of Mesquite and Harold and Sandra Brightwell of Arkansas; and several cousins including Shana Russell, Lana Reed and Shawn Johnson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles R. Baughn, Joe and Evelyn Mexia and Hubert and Tina Brightwell; uncle, Don Wilkinson; and cousin, Sean Wilkinson.
Throughout his life (even to the very end), he was always sweet and kind. He had an uncanny memory for dates. He loved music and science fiction shows from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. He also loved sweets! He will be dearly missed, but we know he is in a better place now.
