William Eric Cox
William Eric Cox, 89, of Dallas, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Dallas. Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Philip B. Roland officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 10:00 AM until service time.
Mr. Cox was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 19, 1927. He was the son of James Eric Cox and Lila Blanch Todd Cox. He was married to Ila Ross and was a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors include his daughter, Martha Ann Brown; several nieces and nephews, including Philip Roland and Don Roland; and his dogs, Mugsy and Tootie. His wife preceded him in death.
