Sadie Marie "Pee Wee" McBride, 90, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Wieland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Sadie Marie Rohus was born to John Riley “Buck” and Fannie Mae Allen Rohus in Hunt County, Quinlan, Texas on March 2, 1926. She grew up in the Alsa Community north of Wills Point and obtained her education in the Alsa Schools except for one year that she attended school in Elmo.
She married John Albert “Johnny” McBride in Wills Point on December 21, 1945. The couple made their home in the Wieland Community of Hunt County where they raised their children.
A loving wife and mother, she is survived by three sons, William Roy of Wieland, Phillip Michael and wife, Faye of Weatherford and Bobby Bryant and wife, Donna of Wieland, grandsons, Michael McBride and wife, Saori, Jerry Wayne Clayton and wife, Krystal, David Morgan and wife, Tricia, granddaughters, Mindy Sager and husband, Jason, Tracy McBride and Kristie Reyes and husband, Vincent, great-grandchildren, Zack, Rex, Amy, Shane, Whitney, Stacy, Kimmy, Amber, Dakota, Harley, Kenzy, Kody and Conner, one great-great-granddaughter, Scarlett, due in December, nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on September, 29, 1973, infant son, Johnny Lee, son, Terry Lynn at the age of 19, one brother, William R. “Ras” Rohus and one sister, Juanita Rohus McCracken.
Pallbearers will be George Wilson, Vincent Reyes, Kody McBride, Shane Carver, Chris Fite and Carl Evans.
