Ronald "Ron" Raymond Heil, 54, of Greenville and formerly of Denton and Aberdeen, S.D., died Sunday, August 26, 2007, at the Dallas VA Hospital. A memorial service is at 7 p.m.,Monday, August 27,2007 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Heil was born December 1, 1952, in Yankton, S.D.,the son of Raymond A. and Delores Schultz Heiil. He married Delores Thompson on Jan. l, l995, in Denton.
Mr. Heil was a service techinician and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Delores Thompson-Heil of Greenville, sons, Kevin Heil and Brian Heil; step-sons, Frank Tillery, Mark Tillery and Clay Tillery; daughter, Shanon Maa;,step-daughter, Jerilyn Reinboldt; brothers, Jim Heil and Mile Heil, sisters, Kay Swanhorst and Phyllis Biegler; and grandchildren, Nathan and Jasmine.
Visitatin is from 6 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
