Winifred Lucille Murray, 87, of Greenville, passed away on June 1, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M., Monday, June 6, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Hargrave officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10 A.M. until service time.
Mrs. Murray was born on March 7, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Fred W. Hill and Anna LaVern Troth. She married John Frances Murray in Aurora, Colorado on February 14, 1957. She was a secretary in a hospital ward, a member of the Christian Church, New Comers Club and the Elks Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Morrison of Greenville, sons, David Allen Petersen and wife, Marcia of Rochester, Minnesota, Michael John Murray and Claudia of Lihue, Hawaii and Patrick James Murray and wife, Audrey of Mesquite, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Mabel Bennett and Margaret Landherr.
