Becky Farquhar Geiger

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”  (2 Timothy 4:7)

Becky Farquhar Geiger, 56, of Campbell, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home after battling cancer for 19 years.  Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. James Ralson will officiate.

Becky was born in Greenville on October 31, 1959.  She was the daughter of Olin Vincent Farquhar and Allie Marie Anderson Farquhar.  She was employed as a Medical Coder with McKesson, Corporation.

Survivors include her son, Mark Daniel Harrison and wife, Shayla of Campbell; daughter, Ashley Geiger of Stillwater, Oklahoma; father, Olin Farquhar of Greenville; sister, Phyllis Smith of Greenville; brothers, Dale Farquhar and wife, Debra of Commerce, Ronnie Farquhar and Stephen Farquhar, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Danny, Allie and Hunter Harrison of Campbell; former husband and caregiver, Jerry Geiger of Campbell; and very special nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her mother and a nephew, Damon Kyle Farquhar.

Becky never complained or lost her beautiful smile and she always managed to maintain her well-known unique and crazy sense of humor throughout her battle.  She had an outgoing and fun-loving personality, her quick-witted comments never failed to provide those in her company with countless laughs, she always saw the good in everyone, and was a true joy to be around.  Becky’s family and friends were very important to her; she loved her job and considered her co-workers as family.

Becky’s faith in the Lord never waivered as she trusted in HIS will for her life.  She passed away peacefully with a smile on her face while surrounded by her family.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

"Becky was one of a kind. She was such a strong, loving, fun, caring and good person. Someone that was always worried about others, while she was fighting her own battle. I never remember her complaining once and we admire her so. I am honored to have known her and so thankful that the Lord let our paths cross and become friends and work family.

Our prayers to the entire family. May the Lord bless and keep you."
