RITA MILLS

Rita Mills, Age 54, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.  Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Crestview Christian Church, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. John Shasteen officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Born on September 30, 1953 in Fouke, Arkansas, Mrs. Mills was the daughter of Horace and Jewell Burt Knox.  On February 14, 1986, she married Jerry Mills in Garland.  She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.  She attended Crestview Christian Church.

Her survivors include her husband, Jerry of Greenville; her mother, Jewell Knox of Greenville; her grandmother, Inez Burt of Fouke, Arkansas; her mother-in-law Doris Williams of Greenville, her daughter, Donna Sanchez and husband, Michael of Garland; four sons, Corey Lemmon and wife, Amanda of Forney, Brent Lemmon and wife, Kristie of Greenville, and Curtis Mills and Steven Mills both of Dallas; her borther, Bart Knox of Mesquite; ten grandchildren, Justin Sanchez, Scott Mills, Amanda Sanchez, Blake Lemmon, Cody King, Shane King, Jaycee’ Lemmon, Sara Sanchez, Caden Lemmon, and Jace Mills; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Howell Knox.

Pallbearers will be Don Wooten, Donnie Edge, Roy Cano, Eddie Clark, Darren Money, Brad Gilbreath, Tim Ehrenberger, Brent Ehrenberger.
