 Judge Dale Thrasher Judge Dale Thrasher, 88, of Greenville, formerly of Lake Tawakoni, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at Harrison House. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Wisdom and Bill Tacker officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 12:30 PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery in Rains County. Born in Lemon, Mississippi on August 4, 1926, Mr. Thrasher was the son of William Nathan Thrasher and Mildred Henderson Thrasher. He married Rose Mary McMillan in Dallas on March 26, 1946. She preceded him in death. He later married Hallie Ernest in Greenville on December 7, 1995. She also preceded him in death. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Alpha Class. He was a former member of Toastmaster International. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He was an Industrial Supervisor-aircraft division at E-Systems. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara D. Thrasher Blaydes of Greenville; grandchildren, Melanie Blaydes Yoder, Mindy R. Blaydes, Michael C. Blaydes, Amanda Thrasher Kees and Shanna French; and great-grandchildren, Michael Alexander Blaydes, T. K. Kees, III, Brandy Jean DeLaun, Gabriel French, Ione French and Trinity J. French. He was preceded in death by both wives, son, Jeffery P. Thrasher and four brothers. Pallbearers will be Bill Tacker, Gabriel French, Michael Blaydes, Jake Krodle, John Sheridan and Paul Owens.
