Roy M. Renfro, Jr., 70 of Greenville, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Christian Care Center in Mesquite. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Rather officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Roy was born in Greenville on October 19, 1944. He was the son of Roy M. Renfro, Sr. and Selma Spicer Renfro. He married Mary Jo Wofford on May 28, 1965 in Celeste. He was retired from Rubbermaid and a member of the Old Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Renfro of Greenville; daughter, Cheryl Edgerton of Greenville; sister, Elizabeth Martin of Tyler and grandson, Zakary Edgerton of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dewayne Martin, Craig Pope, Keith Pope, Mark Renfro, Mike Renfro, and Rod Renfro. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Abell and Larry Godwin.
