"To Monica, Brice, Susan,
Your mother was a dear friend to my mother for over twenty years. I remember your mom when I was a child and then a young teen. She was always so funny ,kind and loving. I still have a hand made doll she made for me when I was about four years old. Her beauty and lasting memory is a testament to her love of life and her family. May God continue to bless all of you and your families. Suzanne Leis Carson"

"I am grateful to Marjorie Denny for her love of horses. It has caused so many people to know and love one another through the hunt. I am grateful to her for her daughter Susan Gentry who rides like her mother and teaches like her mother. Mrs. Denny was always happy. She was always elegant and delightful, yet you could feel her strength in her quiet dignity. And what a wonderful sense of humor. I am so lucky to have know her."
