Frances Drane Ford, 92, of Greenville, passed away on February 9, 2015 at the Legends Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Frances was born November 21, 1922 in Rusk County, Texas to Wylie Cosper Bridges and Mary Elizabeth Wallace Bridges. She married Arie Ford on December 19, 1947 in Rockwall, Texas. She retired as a seamstress and was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Greenville.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Elaine Holt and husband, Johnny and Judy Dickens and husband, Johnny of Greenville; son, Dan Ford of McKinney; sister, Billie Jean Payne of Lone Oak; grandchildren, Kimberly Holt, Keli Goodrich, Jason Wells, Jeremy Dickens, Brandon Dickens, Sandra Hutchinson, Candace Fall, Greg Ford; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Wendy Wells; and 9 brothers.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Dickens, Jeremy Dickens, Larry Terry, Greg Payne, Otis Payne, Jason Wells.
