George Antoine Renfro age 63 was granted his angel wings on Thursday October 2, 2014. He was welcomed by our passed guardian angels, our mother, father, oldest sister Ann and his young nephew James. His final days were a challenge but he went peacefully surrounded by family and friends that George had touched in some small way throughout his memorable life.
George made a lifelong career in auto sales. George's final position was working for Manuel Dodge for over 10 years before he became disabled by severe back injuries. He was well like by all of his co workers because he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was fun to work with and his jokes made their work place a pleasure.
George was born in Lubbock, Texas to Bill and Georgette Renfro, his mother's name sake. He was one of 6 children and he stood out with his mischievousness, humor and his way to befriend all. He is survived by two sisters, Renee Shelton - husband Jim and Robbie Zellitti - husband Ron, two brothers Bill Renfro - wife Shirley and John Renfro - partner Alex, four nieces Teresa Renfro, Christina Shelton, Nicole Zellitti and Reanna Zellitti. He is also survived by our mother's loving family in Luxembourg who have fond memories of George. He will be missed by his loving family and friends that he touched very deeply with laughter and love. Thank you George for being the wonderful man you were! You will be missed and we will always love you. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Our family now has another angel to watch over for us.
There will be no public memorial and in lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
