Norma Jean Beckham, 76 of Decatur, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Royse City, Texas. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jim Dunn officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mrs. Beckham was born August, 11, 1937 in Metropolis, Illinois to Clennis Bruce Harrell and Mary Harris. She married Harvey Beckham in Decatur, Illinois on August 28, 1971. Mrs. Beckham was a daycare owner and a member of Church of Christ Sunnyside in Decatur, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Beckham, sons, Jim and Bob Thrasher, step-son, Mike Beckham, daughter, Regina Thrasher, sisters, Betty Sandford, Mary Jo Carvish, Edna Hyde and Helen Wolf and five grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Harrell; and sister, Margie Stratemeyer.
Pallbearers will be Jim Thrasher, Bob Thrasher, Todd Starnes, Michael Johnston, Steve Leonard, and Mike Beckham.
