"EJ and kids, I am sorry I was unable to be with you and the family at this time to celebrate Bennie's life. I have so many memories to cherish of times spent with Bennie during the seasons of our lives. It seems like only yesterday that we were all together, laughing, cooking, and just having fun. Years go by way to fast so .... until we meet again Bennie, I love you and am so fortunate to have had you as my sister-in-law and my friend."

"Aunt Bennie, Though many years have passed since I saw you last, I can still close my eyes and see your gentle face. Even as a child when I was in your presence I knew I was seeing a lady filled with grace, kindness and compassion. No matter how difficult the journey was you traveled, or what heartache befell you, it was your strength that everyone counted on to carry us through. I know how proud you are of your family and how much you love each and everyone of your children and grandchildren. I also know you were met at Heaven's gates with arms wide open by Benji and Glen. I will always smile when I think of you and I am truly blessed to know an angel in heaven. Thank you for being my Aunt. When someone we love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Aunt Bennie - you are treasured."
