"Its amazing to see what everyone has to say about my father. i found all these guestbook entries and i enjoyed reading them. i don't thing iv ever wanted something back so much in my life. no one will probably see this but it feels good knowing how much of an impact my father had on all of you as well as me. i dont understand the 666 thing. but i know the logo "loose caboose". im older now and have so many questions a little girl never had to to ask there daddy. My father was for sure ONE OF A KIND. None of yall got to see the real him. him as a father and then him as a husband. aside from all his flaws damn was he my favorite man in this world. the picture at the funeral didnt do him any justice. my daddy was always a handsome man. his smile was my favorite thing about him. i told my dad when he passed i wanted to talk at the funeral, and i was honored to have the chance to. i love you daddy so much. HRB needs you."

"Loose, my welcome to the Fightin' Fifty Fifth and the 38 SRS in particular was the finger of the biggest Captain I'd ever seen stabbing in my chest because I'd "let that boy show up to his first assignment without a car." You shaped a wet behind the ears Butter Bar into a descent Nav and much of who I grew up to become as an officer was because of the life lessons that you taught me. You are missed and poor are the generations of Navigators that will grow up without your touch. Godspeed my friend and teacher."
