Thelma Nelson
Thelma Nelson, 82, of Greenville, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Legend Health Care. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, September 2, 2013 in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow in Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Nelson was born in Lone Oak on April 27, 1931. She was the daughter of Elmer VanHuss and Minnie Bell Hanby VanHuss. She was a production worker at Lance, Inc. and a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, David Nelson of Greenville, Ricky Nelson of Greenville and James Truitt Nelson of Canton, Georgia; daughter, Sheila Hooten of Tyler; and grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Meagan Nelson, Crystal Delport and Christopher McMahan.
