James Bailey Featherston, 84, of Greenville died April 22, 2013 in Vian, OK. Jim was born February 25, 1929 in Gatesville, Tx to James William & Ruby Bell Featherston.
He was a Preacher for 60 plus years for The Lord at various Churches in Greenville, Caddo Mills and Gatesville area.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Faye Mexia Featherston of Greenville; son and wife, James W. & Jackie Featherston of Gatesville; daughter & husband, Deborah J. & Wayne Conger of Vian, OK; stepson, Ricky Mexia of Greenville; stepdaughter & husband, Linda & Steve Lilly of Quinlan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Shelton of Hampton, Va; and numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents; 9 Sibilings; and Mary Helen Featherston, wife of 43 years (mother of James & Deborah).
Viewing will be Wednesday, April 24, 2013 6 to 8 pm. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville. Homegoing Services will be held at 10 am Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Coker- Mathews Funeral Home.
An additional service will be held at 4 pm, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Grace Assembly Church in Gatesville, TX. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
