"Marvin was one of my favorite uncles. I have many good memories of him and Aunt Mae when I was was growing up. Spent a few summers with them in Paris and Greeneville. Sorry we live so far away and have not seen him in many years. I'm sure he will be missed. God bless each of you.

"Once in a life time, if you are lucky, you are able to meet someone who is able to grab the joy of life and share it with everyone around him. My cousin Marvin was that person. Always with a smile and snicker and the big story that followed- you hung on every word. He commanded the room he was in with joy, laughter and love. He will be missed and our love to all of his family."
