"Lifting your family up in prayer at this time. We just learned of Avona's passing and are deeply saddened for your loss. We are customers of the Classic Cuts in McKinney. Our church co-sponsored with a local automotive business here in McKinney in October and offered free oil changes to single mom's. We were so blessed to be able to serve Avona in that way. She was always a delight to visit with in the shop, she always had an encouraging word. She will be missed by many. May the Lord comfort you in the days to come and lift you up with fond memories. May He watch over those precious babies and we pray that they will come to know Him in a very personal way and trust Him as their Lord and Savior."

"To the Mackey family, we want to express our deepest sorrow. Avona was such a treasure. She was always such a joy to be around. She cut all of my family's hair in McKinney. We learned of her passing by calling to schedule hair appointments today. My children had a gift to bring to her. They were devastated. She has touched all of our lives. One of my sons has Cerebral Palsy and had two surgeries this past year. Avona was so kind and caring in cutting his hair both before and after the surgeries. He loved going to see her. Avona is truly a special lady who loved her family. She spoke of you all every time we were at Classic Cuts. You will all be in our prayers as you go through this heart wrenching tragedy. Avona will be greatly missed! May God grant you peace and may you experience the true love of God at this time."

Where do I begin. I remember the days me, you and Kim worked in the shop in East Plano, Tx. Over the time we worked together we shared so many laughs, and stories, that I will cherish forever. Then I got the wild hair to go out on my own, you were such a great trooper, you came and worked with me it was an adventure. I remeber the first time you brought Reya to work, she was so small, and beautiful. All the conversations we had, good, bad and ugly lol. You were and are truly a blessing to so many, the heavens will be blessed with such a great person. Though we all wonder why, God took you so soon, we know he had his reasons.May God keep his arms around your precious babies, and your family.
