Charles R. Newsom passed away December 9, 2012 at his residence in Dallas.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 12th at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cumby with pastor Gary Hall officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Coker-Mathews funeal home.
Charles was born January 6, l944 to Joe and Florine Cathey Newsom in Brownwood,Tx. He married Doris Bishop on February l3, l960 in Dallas. Charles retired from the Dallas Morning New.
He is survived by his wife, Doris of Dallas, sons, Charles Newsom of Mesquite, Chad Newsom of Dallas, one daughter Carol Bandy of Seagoville, brothers, Bob Newsom of Wichita, Ks., Billy Jack Newsom of Dallas, James Newsom of Mabank and grandchildren, Dane & Lucy Newsom.
