Welton A. "Willie" Williams
Welton A. "Willie" Williams, 87, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Marvin McDaniel will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Williams was born in Vivian, Louisiana on June 13, 1925. He married Ellen June Johnson on August 13, 1949, in Irving, Texas. He was a retired welder for Lone Star Gas Company.
Survivors include his sons, Wayne Williams of The Colony and James Williams of Rowlett. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Williams, November 26, 1984, one brother and one sister.
