"I first met June at Legends when she was there for rehab. My Mom was on the same hall. June was in a wheel chair at first and each time I saw her she was smiling at visiting folks. It was easy for me to get acquainted with her. June was able to get my Mom 'out of her shell' AND out of her room. Mom was somewhat depressed by just being there and not at home. That all changed when she met June. Pretty soon, they were forming a 'lunch bunch' (some who were having there meals at the end of Hall 3 instead of the main dining room). June soon went home and Mom had to make new friends but June returned often to visit her. Today, Mom & June are laughing & visiting each other in Paradise. I only knew June for a short time but she made me want to be a better person. Her smile & spirit touched more lives than we will ever know. She shared the Lord with everyone and it is obvious He was with her. I didn't make it to the funeral but I want the family to know how special she was to us in a very difficult time when we went through what you are going through now. May God give you the same peace He gave us. They are with Him now and He loves them, too."
