Jessie FayeKing

Jessie Faye King, 86 of Greenville passed away April 12, 2012 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Memoryland Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Mizer officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Sunday until service time at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Born March 26, 1926, in Winnsboro, Jessie was the daughter of Grady and Mattie (Campbell) Calvert.  On June 28, 1947 in Greenville, she married Joe C. King.  She worked for Haggar Slacks for 47 years as well as serving her family as homemaker.

She was a member of Tidwell Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her son Kenneth J. King and wife Geraldine (Van Huss) King of Dorchester; sister Odean Murray of Oklahoma City; grandsons Cody Joe King of Howe and Capt. Dusty James King of  Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; great-grandsons Gage Ryan King-age 11 and Wyatt Austin King-age 2; and nieces and nephews Donna Murray, Gary Calvert, Charlsie Rolf, and Betty Brown,

She was preceded in death by her husband on 08/31/2000, parents, sisters Alene Barron and Leona Ard, and brother Lester Calvert.

Pallbearers will be Cody King, Dusty King, Lanny Brown, Charles Rolf, Greg Parsons, and Jimmy Van Huss.
