Betty O. Rogers
Betty O. Rogers, 75, of Greenville, died Friday, February 17, 2012, in Greenville Health and Rehab Center. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday at Old Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Marvin Mosley and Rev. Gary Griffin officiating.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Post, Texas on February 11, 2012. She was the daughter of Arthur Ray Martin and Annie Mae Hennington Martin. On December 24, 1961, she married Harold Rogers in Ropesville, Texas. She received a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education from Wayland Baptist College. She played the organ at churches most of her life. Mrs. Rogers was the church secretary at Park Street Baptist Church for nearly 30 years and was currently a member of Old Concord Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Rogers of Greenville; son, Keith Rogers of Greenville; daughters, Pam Rogers of Lewisville and Ronda Rogers of Amarillo; brother, Billy Ray Martin of Amarillo; sister, Emma Jean Nance of West, Texas; and grandchildren, Marcus and Caitlyn Rogers of Greenville.
