Mabel Ash

 Mabel Ash, 93, of Grenville, formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas, died in the Harrison House in Greenville, Thursday, January 10, 2008.  Graveside services will be Monday, January 14, 2008, at 12 noon at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, with Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating.
 
Mrs.Ash was born in Madill, Oklahoma, August 2, 1914, the daughter of Benjamin Taylor and Ethel Lora Jones Maxwell.  On November 25, 1931, in Madill, Oklahoma, she married Henry Ash.  She was a practical nurse, homemaker, and seamstress-sewing drapries for a decorator.  She was a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville and while living in Wichita Falls, taught the 4 year old Sunday School Class for 21 years.
 
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Peggy Ash of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Donna Ash of Wichita Falls; brothers, Vernon Maxwell of Oklahoma City and B. T. Maxwell of Madill, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Donald Ash; and three brothers.
 
Visitation will be Saturday, January 12, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville and Monday, January 14, 2008, 11:00 AM to service time at Crestview Memorial Park.
