David Kent Hobden

David Kent Hobden, 61, of Quinlan, passed away on
November 24, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. A graveside service will be 10:30 A.M.,
Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Lone Star Cemetery in Point, Texas with Mr. Kris
Ivy officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, November
28, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Hobden was born April 10, 1961, in Marshall,
Texas, to Melvin Fred Hobden and Dorothy Ann Hall. He married Bonita Ivy on May
19, 1984, in Point, Texas. He worked as a Director of Safety for Dallas Area
Rapid Transit.
He is survived by his wife, Bonita Hobden; sons, Jake
Hobden and wife, Haley, and Jesse Hobden; daughter, Kelsey Hobden; father,
Melvin Hobden; brother, Marvin Hobden and wife, Barbara; sisters, Pam Allgood
and Kay Rich and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Colt Hobden and Eloise Hobden;
along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy
Hobden; and his grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Jake Hobden, Jesse Hobden, Jordan
Allgood, Cody Steinborn, Jeff Rich, and Kyle Rich.
It’ll be alright.
