Doris Coleman, 89, of Greenville, passed away on July
31, 2022, in Greenville. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday,
August 4, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson
officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 6:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm, at the funeral
home. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Coleman was born February 8, 1933, in Floyd,
Texas to John Henry Deaton, Jr., and Ruby Lee Morris. She married Arthur Murl
Coleman on June 24, 1950, in Hunt County, Texas. Doris was a homemaker and the
best Mama and Nannie in the world. She loved gardening, bird watching, cooking,
cleaning, sweet tea, CB’s hamburgers and especially spending time with family.
She is survived by her son, Chris Coleman and wife,
Sharon; daughters, Deborah Craig, Karen Coleman, Rene’ Lowe and husband,
George, and Brenda King and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Jeremy Dutton and
wife, Melanie, Kassi Silman and husband, Jay, Joseph King and wife, Emily,
Jessica King and Jeremy Johnson, Josh King and wife, Jessica, Kelli Cowser and husband,
Scott Sturgill, Lissa Tindall, Maisie Lowe, Chance Lowe and wife, Ali, Kaela
Garcia and husband, Eric, Gordon Coleman, Dylan Coleman and Bailey Varner,
Brendan Coleman and wife, Abbie, Collin Fintoski and Michael Anderson;
great-grandchildren, Makenna Dutton, Pyper Silman, Kaylee Silman, Kolter
Silman, Talon Johnson, Kobe Martinez, Selena Martinez, Camden King, Brody King,
Riley Castle, Kendall King, Kip King, Michael Sturgill, Kaylee Hilliard,
Lincoln Tindall, Grace Marks, Isaiah Lowe, Kash Garcia, Trigg Garcia, Ridge
Garcia, and Zane Lowe.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 17,
1985, her parents, and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dutton, Joseph King, Josh
King, Chance Lowe, Gordon Coleman, Dylan Coleman, and Brendan Coleman.
