Nancy Joyce Stewart, 83, of Greenville, passed away on June 13, 2022, in Commerce, Texas. A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 17, 2022, at Bear Creek Cemetery in Junction, Texas with Mr. Darryl Scott officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stewart was born January 19, 1939, in Pottsboro, Texas to L.W. Freeman and Cordelia Killingsworth. She married Tilden Stewart on August 27, 1963, in Sanderson, Texas. She was an Elementary Teacher for 50 plus years and a member of Creekside Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Stewart and wife, Beverly, David Stewart and wife, Cathy, and Mark Stewart and wife, Tina; daughter, Susan Renea Taylor and wife, Natalie; sisters, Mary Vogle and husband, Jim and Doris Armstrong; grandchildren, Heather Boyer and husband, Casey, Christopher Stewart and wife, Maddy, Megan Stewart, Aaron Stewart, Courtney Peise and husband, Sam, Hannah Rowton and husband, Tyler, Jonathan Young, and Heather Bledsong and husband, DaShaun; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2019, her parents, brothers, Charles Freeman and Tommy Freeman, and sister, Mildred.
