Estelle was
born on December 2, 1921 to Dora and Boyd Reeves. Estelle was the fifth of their eight
children. She married Kenneth Prince on
February 12, 1947. They were blessed
with three children, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one
great great grandchild. Estelle is
survived by her sister, Mary Harwell; sister-in-law, Ann Prince; her three
children and their spouses, Ken Prince and Kate Challingsworth, Kathy and Rob
Hester and Vickey and Tom Miller; her grandchildren and their spouses, Stephen
and Amy Prince, Christine and Joe Dailey, Michelle and Richard Loving, William
Lee and Chelsea and Chase Hempkins; her great grandchildren, Mason and Hayden
Prince, Linkin Lodini, Desaree Breeden, Savanah Forkey, Colton and Callie
Hempkins; great great grandchild, Lydia Jenkins; and many nieces and
nephews. Estelle is preceded in death by
her parents; 2 brothers, Wilton and Pete; four sisters, Louise, Lucille,
Bernice and Freda; husband, Kenneth; 24 brother and sister-in laws; son-in-law,
Karl Greenwalt; and great grandson, Camden Hempkins. Estelle accepted Jesus Christ as her savior
and was baptized at Tidwell Baptist Church in 1937. Estelle lived independently for thirty years after
she lost Kenneth. Since her stroke in
2017 she had lived with her children until entering Briarcliff Health Center in
2020. The family thanks the staff at
Briarcliff, especially her nurse Monica Montgomery, for the care and love they
showed her. Estelle can now see again, can speak without searching for her
words and walk without pain -- and in that we all rejoice! Estelle has been ready to release her hold on
this life for awhile and reunite with her family and many friends she has
lost. We trust in Jesus Christ and the
promise of eternal life through his work on the cross to make this a day of
rejoicing and not sadness. Family was
important to Estelle and today we hope we all hold a little tighter to those we
love.
