Marshall Benton Morgan, 66, of Irving Texas died May 12,
2021 at Ashford Hall Nursing Home. He was born in Cleburne, Texas July 5, 1954 and raised in Greenville, Texas
by his parents, James Harris Morgan and Barbara Knox Morgan. He married Karen Kay Lee, June 25, 1995.
Marshall was a graduate of Greenville High School and the
Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science but his love of cars lead him into a
lifetime career in the used car industry.
Marshall had the spirit of a true entrepreneur and saw opportunity
everywhere. He would always see the “diamond in the rough”. From an early age, Marshall enjoyed playing
the guitar and later sharing his love of the instrument with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his father Harris Morgan and is
survived by his Mother, Barbara Morgan,
wife Karen Morgan, 2 sons, and 6 grandchildren. Son Steven Perez-Morgan. Daughter in
Law/Daughter Bethanie Tillery with grandchildren: Emily Tillery, Natalie Perez,
Daniel Perez, and Ryan Tillery. Son
Ricardo "Ric" Perez with grandchildren Layla Perez and Gabriel Perez.
His sister, Lynn and Jim Johnston, brother
J. Brian and Julie Morgan, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots
Private interment for the family will be Friday June 18,
2021, at East Mount Cemetery in Greenville, Tx.
Officiating will be his cousin, Reverend Neill Morgan.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 19, 2021 at
11:00 am, at the Fundamental Baptist Church
1119 W. Shady Grove Rd. Irving,
Texas 75060 Officiating will be Pastor
His family wishes to thank the staff of Ashford Hall for the
years of care and attention given to Marshall, especially Bethanie Tillery, and
Amedisys Hospice. Special thanks to The
Fundamental Baptist Church and the congregation for all the love and support of
the Morgan family.
