Linda Lee Foster Saenz,
76, a lifetime resident of Greenville, passed away November 15, 2020. Funeral services will be held at Higher
Trails Cowboy Church at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020 with Pastor Brett
Bird officiating. Burial will follow at
Memoryland Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Saturday, November
21, 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Services will be
broadcast live from www.highertrails.church or Higher Trails Church Facebook page.
Linda was born
February 14, 1944 in the Van Sickle Community to Luther Lee and Domicle “Dutch”
Matthews Foster. She married the love of
her life, Humberto J. Saenz on April 7, 1992 in Greenville, Texas. She began
her medical career in the 1970's working as a surgical technician at Hunt County
Memorial, and continued the advancement of her career working for various
Doctors in Greenville until she graduated in January of 1984 from Grayson
County Community College as a Registered Nurse. Being a nurse was her proudest
accomplishment besides her family. Linda’s love for nursing was a passionate
calling and she continued this love until her retirement in 2010 from the VA in
Bonham where she worked for many years and developed wonderful friendships.
Linda loved the Lord
and she attended various Baptist Churches in Greenville and New Waverly
creating special friendships. Linda also had a larger than life personality and
she could do anything she put her mind to. She had a talent of turning something
small into something big and beautiful. She was an excellent seamstress and
created and sewed several wedding dresses and other beautiful clothes for her
family. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding her family her specialty
dishes. Linda loved a good bargain and shopping to find the best deal. She
dressed to impress at all times and wore beautiful jewelry. She also loved to
decorate and collect various different things including tea cups, tea pots,
angels and her vast cross collections.
Linda’s one true love
was her family. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter and only child,
Linda Christine Sivcoski and husband, Dennis of New Waverly. Brother Tom Foster
and wife Mercedes of Greenville; beloved and adored grandchildren, Rayla Henry
Menard and husband, Bryan, John Wayne Henry and wife, Courtney of New Waverly, Texas.
Her Pride and joy were her 4 precious great-grandchildren, Kryssa Laura-LeeAnn
Menard, Kayslie Elizabeth Menard, Maycn Lynnette Henry and John Wayne Henry,
Jr.; special loved niece, Lesa Foster Buck of Greenville, Texas, great nieces
Kacie Scott and husband Westley (Alauna & Addison) : Kayla Hudson and
husband Clif (Zane & Kavik) and nephew Kyle Smith and wife Carli (Callie
& Kimber) of Greenville and Brenda Foster of Greenville and numerous other special
and loved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; husband; sister, Jenny Bowers; brothers, Waldo Foster,
Frankie Foster; and special niece, Pam Bowers Smith all of Greenville.
Pallbearers are Bobby Bowers,
Robby Bowers, Gary Bowers, Leo Foster, Jeff Foster, Clif Hudson Kyle Smith and
Jake Buck, all of Greenville, Texas.

please make donations in Linda’s name to a Hunt County charity that services
the less fortunate this holiday season.
