Joe DeGarso, 73, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June
17, 2020 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Crossroads Assembly of God with Rev.
Mike Sanders and Rev. Jack Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Joe was born August 23, 1946 in Greenville, Texas to John
and Ricarda Reynosa DeGarso. He married
Fay Nell Helton on November 9, 1968 in Caddo Mills, Texas. He retired from Farmers Electric after 35
years as warehouse manager. He is a
member of the Crossroads Assembly of God Church.
Joe is survived by his wife, Fay Nell DeGarso; sons, Joe
David DeGarso and wife, Shannon; Brian DeGarso all of Greenville; sister,
Frances Flores of Dallas; grandchildren, Bethany DeGarso, Jonathon DeGarso,
Logan DeGarso, Traylon Phillips; plus 26 special grandbabies from Daycare; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Juanita
Sanchez; brothers, Jesse DeGarso, Johnny DeGarso, Tony DeGarso; and
brother-in-law, George Helton, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Jonathon DeGarso, Logan DeGarso, Gary
DeGarso, Ronnie DeGarso, James DeGarso and Traylon Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin DeGarso,
Tyler DeGarso, John Flores, Ricky Flores, Robert Flores, George Helton, Jr., Monte
Mitchell, Javier Rodriquez.
