Linda Mexia Lilly, 62, of Quinlan, passed away on Saturday,
February 2, 2019 in Dallas. A graveside service will be 2 P.M., Thursday,
February 7, 2019 at Quinlan I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Rev. Joyce Pattison and Rev.
Dwayne Pattison officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019
from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lilly was born on June 4, 1956 in Greenville, Texas to
Joe and Faye Mexia. She married Stephen Lilly on August 20, 1979 in Rockwall,
Texas. She was retired office manager with Hunt County Adult Probation. She attended and was a member of First
Pentecostal Church of God and was on the Planning and Zoning Committee of
She is survived by her husband, Steve Lilly of Quinlan;
mother, Faye Mexia Featherston of Greenville; son, Jacob Lilly and wife, Amy of
Trophy Club; brother, Rickey Mexia of Greenville; mother-in-law, Carolyn Strickland; grandchildren, Raelan, Kace
and Kolt Lilly of Trophy Club; niece, Amber Mexia Pennington of Arkansas; and
nephew, Jeremy Mexia of Greenville.
She is preceded in death by her father and grandmother, Mary Bell Cox.
