Pam (Bowers) Smith, Age 57, of Greenville went to her
Heavenly home Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her home. Services will be held
at 2:00 PM Saturday at Higher Trails Cowboy Church with Rev. Randy Bird
officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland
Memorial Park. Visitation will be from
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 28th at Coker-Mathews Funeral
Born January 15, 1961 in Greenville, Pamela Railine was the
daughter of Ray E. Bowers and Martha “Jennie” (Foster) Bowers. Pam was a loving mother and “Grammy” who was
deeply loved by her family and many dear friends. She cherished the times spent with her
children and grandchildren whether it be traveling to places like Disney World
or Yellowstone National Park or just hanging out at home, ball games or dance
competitions. Family and friends depended on Pam for daycare of their children.
Pam lovingly cared for children in her home. Pam was an active member of Higher
Trails Cowboy Church where she served in the children’s ministry. She loved her
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all her heart, soul, mind and strength.
She is survived by her daughters, Acacia “Kacie” (Smith)
Scott and her husband, Westley and Kayla
(Smith) Hudson and husband, Clif all of Greenville; her son, Kyle Scott Smith
and wife, Carli of Caddo Mills; brothers Bobby Bowers and wife, Elizabeth of
Greenville, Robby Bowers and wife, Sherry of Quinlan and Gary Bowers and wife,
Dyan of Quinlan; Special aunt and best friend, Linda (Foster) Saenz of New
Waverly, who loving cared for her during
her illness; grandchildren Alauna and Addison Scott, Zane and Kavik Hudson, and
Callie Smith to be born in January; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death her parents, Ray and Jennie
Bowers; and nephew, Craig Bowers.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bowers, Ben Bowers, Robby Bowers,
Jr., Aaron Cook, Bob Burney, and Drew Holloway.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
