Jay Tom Holley, 91, of Greenville passed away on November
13, 2018. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 A.M., Saturday, November 24,
2018 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Yost officiating. Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holley was born on September 16, 1927 in Dallas to
Charles Thomas Holley and Thelma Marion McDaniel. He married Mary Lou Kurtz in
Richardson, Texas on March 9, 1984. He was a principal and assistant
superintendent for Richardson ISD and worked in sales for Balfour. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in WWII and was a member of Wesley United
Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Holley of Greenville;
step-son, Brett Abbott and wife, Naomi of Austin; step-daughters, Debbie
Angstadt and husband, Don of Lewisville; Patti Crow of Fairview; Brenda
Colletti of Wylie; grandchildren, Bryan Holley and wife, Katie; Jeremy Holley
and wife, Lauren; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces,
Holly Morris and Georgia Couser.
He is preceded in death by his son, Hal Holley and his
parents.
Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or
the charity of your choice.
